Our own Obafemi Matins AKA Obagoal who as been out since last month and underwent surgery on a hernia injury is back and fit. He would be playing in the match against Everton on Sunday. Newcastle is also set to welcome two other strikers along side Matins. According to BBC SPORT "Mark Viduka, Obafemi Martins and Alan Smith have missed most of the season through injuries, but the trio have been given the all-clear to return.
"It's very important to have them back in the frame," assistant boss Chris Hughton told the club's website.
"They could be very important for us in the coming weeks, the lift they give the rest of the lads is obvious."
Australia international Viduka has been limited to five appearances this season because of an Achilles problem, but came off the bench for the final 10 minutes of the 3-2victory over West Brom on 7 February.
England forward Smith has suffered foot and ankle problems and has not played a senior game all season for Newcastle."
