The Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, has warned its new students against involvement in anti-social acts and behaviour that would not promote the good image of the institution.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Micheal Faborode, gave this warning during the matriculation of the 6,734 new students. He also warned the students against any conduct that could jeopardise their academic career and life ambition.
The VC also appealed to the students not to see the words: “Great Ife” as a war slogan in pursuit of negative actions portraying recklessness and irresponsible behavior.
